Purpose and Duties

Purpose

To administer Aid and Transport of the injured, lost or those otherwise incapaciated in the Northern Barrier Range during the winter months, and during situations of a natural disaster i.e., Fire, floods, etc

Duties

Maintaining up-to-date information on weather conditions, and landscape alterations that are influenced by severe snow and ice during the winter months.
Locating and assisting those who may be lost, injured or otherwise unable to fend for themselves during emergency situations.
Maintaining emergency and medical supplies needed for patrol and rescue missions.
